Aykut Çelikbaş, who was born in 1976, graduated from the University of Eastern Michigan's Technology Management department in the United States after his secondary and high school education. Since 2009, he started to run the ultramarathon races that are longer than standart 42 km marathon distance. He run around 40 ultramarathons, which are more than 100 km long, including races such as UTMB and Lavaredo Ultra Trail. He represented Turkey in 2015 Trail Run World Championship and in the 2018 European Championship 24 hours race. He managed to complete the 246 km long Spartathlon race, which started in Athens and ended in the city of Sparta, five times. He is the author of the a comprehensive guide book name "Ultra Book" about long distance running. In 24-hour race held in Barcelona, Spain in December 2017 with a result 225.897 km He became an owner of the 24-hour Turkish record.
